Bree Laughlin

Bree Laughlin is a writer and photographer who is passionate about conserving the natural environment. She joined the Wild Rivers Land Trust team as Outreach Coordinator in July, 2025.
Bree has a long history in journalism, writing for publications throughout the Western United States and as far away as New Zealand. She also has experience with environmental nonprofit organizations, including the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District in Colorado. Bree has two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Washington and earned a graduate degree in Environmental Science and Natural Resource Journalism from the University of Montana in 2012.
An ocean lover by nature, Bree can often be found exploring South Coast beaches with her dog Boomer. She also enjoys camping in her travel van, paddle boarding on local lakes and rivers and venturing into the mountains. She will always advocate for the places she loves and is thrilled to be part of the Wild Rivers Land Trust team.
