John Jones (Fundraising Committee)
John and his wife Margaret retired after 30 years of dedicated service as managers of Camp Myrtlewood, a Church of the Brethren Retreat & Environmental Education Center located near Myrtle Point, Oregon.
Upon graduation from the University of Oregon with a BS in Communications, John worked with the Brethren Volunteer Service in Northern Ireland from 1974-1977. Following his return to the States, John taught in the Beaverton School District before taking his job with Camp.
Today, John continues leading Camp Myrtlewood's Ecoforestry program and served as WRLT’s president for 4 years. When he finds time for other pursuits, John enjoys playing blues harp with friends and is always happy walking the beach, or hiking a real forest.
